IRIS to 501

OK so IRIS verbs does in fact have more verbs than 501 Hebrew verbs. But there are some verbs that 501 Hebrew verbs has that the IRIS verbs does not. I just discovered an amazing trick to use IRIS verbs to recover the verbs not listed. For instance Hitkonen or התכונן meaning 'get ready' is in 501 but not IRIS. What I do is look in my 501 and find a verb conjugated in an identical way. In order to know how to conjugate Hitkonen with IRIS verbs just go to the verb Hitkofef or התכופף which is identical

Unlisted verbs of IRIS verbs

***Hitkonen-get ready
(Hitkofef)
***He2in-to prepare
(He2il)
***Hitkawen-mean
(Hitkawe3)
***Hibi9-to look at
(Hikir)
***Hi5pri3-to spray
(Hi5pil)
***Hibi9-to look at
(Higid or Hibia7)
HINBIT means 'to germinate'.

Who was in Israel first?

Who was in Israel first, the Jews or Palestinians?

Here are 20 conveniently overlooked facts that give some perspective to the current Middle East situation. These were compiled by a Christian university professor..... Takes just 1.5 minutes to read!!!
1. Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C.E., two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
2. Arab refugees began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 B.C.E, the Jews had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
4.The only Arab domination since the conquest in 635 C.E. lasted no more than 22 years.
5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.
6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 hundred times in Bible. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.
7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem.
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.
9. Arab and Jewish refugees: Arabs were not driven out of their homes. Following the UN decision on Partition in 1948, the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders, promising to purge the land of Jews. They argued that an "Arab presence" would only get in the way of the planned devastation. Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.
10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms.
11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees absorbed by Israel from Arab countries is estimated to be the same.
12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples'lands. Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey.
13. The Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended itself each time and won.
14. The P.L.O.'s Charter still calls for the destruction of the state of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank and autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied their police and security forces with weapons.
15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Jewish grave markers were used to build public urinals in occupied Jerusalem. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.
16. The U.N. record on Israel and the Arabs of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel -- notwithstanding the fact that the Arabs refused to participate in the 15 nation United Nations Commission of Palestine which recommended partition in 1948 and sought immediately to undo its work by force of arms.
17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed against Israel.
18. The U.N. was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians between 1948 and 1967.
19. The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives between 1948 and 1967.
20. The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall between 1948 and 1967.
Comments, additions, corrections ??

"I think it is dishonest for the Palestinians to claim Israel as their homeland based upon this info. Tell me where this info is wrong. If not, then Israel has a right to defend herself using whatever means possible."

In this clip, we see how it's actually the settlements that give Jews the right to live in Israel to begin with.

Real Hebrew

http://jtf.org/forum/index.php?topic=42328.15;wap2

Most amazing article ever! I love hearing about mizraci Hebrew! I read the whole thing

Here are some tidbits about the 'ayin and het:

Talmud Meghilla (24 and Yerushlami Berakhoth 82).  "Those who read the 'ayin like aleph are not to publicly read from the Torah and are not to participate in the blessing of the Cohanim".

I shall quote from my mentor, Ben Siyyon Cohen "If, until now they had an excuse to say 'it wasn't our fault for we didn't know the pronunciation of the het and 'ayin and we had nobody from whom to learn'.  Behold, now in the Land of Israel they have the ability and opportunity to learn and yet they make no effort to do so or to teach them to their children.  Those people will be judged as though they sinned on purpose.  For how can a religious Jew entertain the concept of reading prayers and Torah while substituting the aleph for the 'ayin?.  How will he read "wa'avadhtem ("you shall serve" but, with an aleph, it would mean "you shall destroy") G-d".  "Nishba' haShem ("you will swear to G-d" but, with an aleph, it would mean "G-d will be taken captive")".  "Laahava eth hashem ul'ovdo ("to love G-d and to serve Him" but, with an aleph, it would mean "to love G-d and to lose Him")".  And similar to these?  Is this not blasphemy and cursing heavenward if he is able to learn to pronounce the 'ayin and yet he is too lazy, or for whatever reason, neglects doing so?  How much more so those who err and misinterpret "Do not forsake the teachings of your mother..." as if they were commanded to pursue traditions even after it becomes clear that they are corrupt...  How much more so if he is in the Land of Israel, that if he wishes to learn, he can learn the correct pronunciation of the letters easily and yet he makes no effort.  He will be judged as "mezid" (sinning on purpose) and as one who makes light (of the commandments)..."

Baby Hebrew Problems

Head ache in Hebrew is כאב ראש K4eV Ro45

In case there are any Hebrew transliteration apologist who try to explain away all the head aches, I have listed the immense and crippling effects of baby Hebrew. Why is this relevant? Because I care, and I don't think there is a good reason anyone should have to suffer. Simply put "adopt baby Hebrew, adopt baby Hebrew problems". We know what baby Hebrew problems are. I love discussing this topic because I know Hebrew can be a very easy language. Question: Is the perceived difficulty of Hebrew just a transliteration incompatibility or problem? I would argue the answer is yes! The entire perceived difficulty is nothing but a broken foundation. Consider the following

Baby Hebrew has
2 silent letters

2 V's

2 KH's

2 T's

2 K's

2 S's

Baby Hebrew suffers from immense disadvantages such as the following
*Reliance on IPA symbols
*need to download special fonts with transliteration
*Reliance on the shift key
*takes five times as long to do something as simple as look up a word in the dictionary.
*increased spelling errors due to ambiguity
*just plain difficulty spelling
*quadrupled memory load
*difficulty memorizing verbal patterns or conjugating due to silent letters and seemingly ignoring syllabalification. For instance the names of the verbs are broken. Paal instead of Pa7aL ect, ect...
*broken root system also due to ambiguity: (works at only 60%efficiency)

Hebrew can take months instead of years to learn. It's difficulty is just an illusion and is entirely a result of incompatible vowel points and sweeping letters under the rug. Romanization is always going to be a necessity. Baby Hebrew way brings baby Hebrew problems. Mnemonic Hebrew is free of all these disadvantages. The numbers may seem foreign but they will be your best friends when you recognize them as your allies there to cut the time it takes to look up and acquire new words.

Perfect dot system

I will attempt to show that the markings are too perfect and in fact impossible to have been invented. I will do so by analyzing Jewish dialects and the alphabet itself. But first let me make this bold statement. "Being Jewish does not teach a Pearson Hebrew any faster". Yes I know, absurd. OK so we must look at six double letters: B, G, D and their twins P, K, T. Do me a favor and say PoPoPo. Don't feel silly, just trust me. Now say  BoBoBo. Notice any similarities? B and P are exactly the same sounds! Only one difference! B is a little more complex. With B you activate your vocal chords. B has a twin, P. G has a twin, K. D has a twin, T! That is the logic of the double letters. The double letters only exist because of these points. We would not even be aware of them without them. There is even more to say. Why would eastern Jews preserve both p, v and g if they were not apart of ancient Hebrew. These sounds do not exist in Arabic. But g does in like one dialect. See the problem? Furthermore the b sound is formed with a dot, not the absence of. Another huge problem for those that like to perpetuate the myth of an invented dot system. There are even more problems. If you think that Hebrew has only plosive double letters than why does Arabic not have a p? The only logical conclusion that exists is what Hebrews have always said through out history. The dot system existed since the beginning of time along side the alphabet. This is linguistically supported.

Hebrew Teeth

OK so.... The twenty two letters of the Hebrew alphabet make 32 sounds that correspond to the thirty two teeth in your mouth. 22 letters, plus 7 doubles or letters that make a different sound with a dot, plus 2 letters that soften or change before a front vowel, equals 31, plus 5in/sin, equals 32.

To pin point what exact sound each letter makes we use IPA symbols which are in pink. Two letters are best described using the corresponding Arabic letters which are in green. The letters that change before a front vowel (e or i) are in orange. Lastly the sounds that really aren't in English are in blue. 4alef is a glottal stop and is everywhere in English, we just don't have a letter for it and it for what ever reason is a challenge. So it has a different shade of blue.

That's it. That's everything. No sugar coating(bad for your teeth), no dumbing down. Why is it important to learn all the sounds? Because it makes the alphabet and root system work efficiently, it reduces homophones, ambiguity and the memory load. The blue letters are the ones most people will have a challenge with but if your lucky you might already know them. Anyways, Baby Hebrew is fine too but the payoff of learning these is well worth it. The numbers you see in transliteration are called the Mnemonic Hebrew Numbers. Mnemonic Hebrew does not take the route of Baby Hebrew in which the phonetic inventory is reduced but rather encourage and represents all sounds. All Jewish dialects are represented in Mnemonic Hebrew.

To remove sounds from Hebrew is like pulling a good tooth. To learn the sounds of Hebrew is like brushing your teeth.

Who invented MNEMONIC?

Who invented MNEMONIC? Well it is ironic that I recently have been attacked with using a reconstruction but the truth is that anyone that learns mnemonic learns every single dialect as it has all the sounds. Now linguistically speaking MNEMONIC is a hundred percent real Hebrew. How? Well it acknowledges all double letters which are plosive with a dot and fricative without. To be perfectly honest any dialect that does do this is more accurately labeled a reconstruction than MNEMONIC, because the Hebrew alphabet just works only one way. Further more MNEMONIC has more in common with Semitic languages because it has both glides and uses them to represent vowels. To use a bilabial to represent vowels is nothing short of a reconstruction. Mnemonic did not invent the double letters ha5em did that. Mnemonic did not choose to use glides to represent vowels. Ha5em did that. Mnemonic Hebrew is simply real, politically neutral and unambiguous Hebrew that will not succumb to plagiarism. The credit goes to the creator. He made the alphabet logical with 32 sounds corresponding to the teeth in the mouth. He made the dot logic in the vowels. He made the voiced counter parts of sin/5in to be factors of 21. He preserved the sounds of his beautiful language in lips of his scattered people.

The root system, plosive/fricative double letters, syllabification and sounds in mnemonic functions at a hundred percent full capacity.

What are the numbers

What are the numbers?

The numbers represent letters of the Hebrew 4alefbeyt. There are sounds that exist in Hebrew that don't in English. Furthermore Hebrew itself cannot be confined to a 26 letter alphabet. We can adapt the Latin alphabet as turkey has done but we would then be inclined to ask everyone learning Hebrew to download yet another font or language on their computer. One way other people have adapted is by using numbers. Why numbers? Well they reduce typing and do not require the shift key. It makes things easier. Basically with this Hebrew is a hundred percent phonetic. No exceptions. The transliteration tells you exactly the Hebrew spelling. Before an ambiguous transliteration system would require a person to look up a word in the dictionary four or five different ways. This is highly unnecessary.
Other than that MNEMONIC HEBREW makes use of other things that makes Hebrew more predictable and less ambiguous.
W distinguished from v
C instead of kh or even ch
X distinguished from s
Q distinguished from

What is the sixth letter?

We can prove for an absolute fact that ו is a w. First that sounds is right at home with Semitic languages but are often thought to be peculiar to European languages. So what is our proof? Two Hebrew letters are used to represent long vowels quite often. One is yod and the other is? You guessed it, WAW! There is a reason why yod is used, it is what we call a glide or consonantal vowel. A glide is a consonant that you cannot pronounce at the end of a syllable. You can do this with a v. The only other glide that exists in Hebrew is w. It is logical for the two glides to be used to represent vowels.

MNEMONIC HEBREW numbers. What are they?

It is called MNEMONIC HEBREW. They correspond to Hebrew letters and tell you the exact Hebrew spelling and pronunciation. They also allow variation for the different pronunciations of Jews globally while at the same time eliminating ambiguity

An example of why MNEMONIC HEBREW is the best: What does 'im' mean in Hebrew? You wouldn't know and if you saw this transliteration you would have little clue as to it's spelling. This wastes time and makes things more difficult than it needs to be. But if I wrote 7im-with or 4im-if. There is no room for confusion. This precision is crucial for learning and acquiring vocabulary.

Hebrew Freedom

Let's compare ancient Hebrew liberties to modern. In the modern world you get weekends and PTO time if you are lucky. And you can file bankruptcy if you are in serious debt which will stay on your record seven years.

The ancient Hebrews had every seventh day off and every seventh year called a sabbatical nobody worked. Every fifty years called jubilee all debts were canceled. There are seven feasts in which we rest some that are a week long.

The Hebrews did not have to fight for their liberties or worry about it. Everyone had it and everyone knew when to expect it. It was part of their perfect balance.

The biblical system wins hands down.

Amazing English Hebrew pronouns

Something else really strange I noticed

There are three first person words with the letter M in English
AM, MY and ME(like Hebrew 4aNi-I)
There are three object pronouns with the letter M(like Hebrew 4otaM-them)
1st person Me
2nd person hiM
3rd person theM

The difference between 'who' and 'whoM' is that 'who' refers to the subject like Hebrew Hu(he), and 'whoM' refers to the object.

*wheN is the other interrogative pronoun with a nasal

*'Me' reminds me of both '4otaM-them' in that it is an object pronoun and '4aNi-I' in that it is first person

MNEMONIC HEBREW SAVES LIVES!

Here is the truth. If Hebraic circles used mnemonic Hebrew on facebook along side the block script this is what would happen: Hebrew would go from being an exclusive language to a language that can be learned at rapid speeds, it would be easier than Esperanto. As an indirect result there would be far less anti semitism. How you say? Well most of the Hebrew or Jew killers are people who stole Hebrew sacred text and inserted their paganism. They recognized the obvious advantages and blessings the Jews had from having a unifying text but found it too hard to learn Hebrew. Yes anti semitism is born out of Hebraic illiteracy. Mnemonic Hebrew would also free people's time to pursue other Hebrew educational resources. We can all benefit from Israeli technology. So mnemonic Hebrew saves time, it saves money, it connects the diaspora to the bible and to the land and to ha5em and lastly it saves lives and smothers the ugly raging fire of hate filled anti semitism born out of ignorance and Hebraic illiteracy.

To quote a mizrachi in Israel, "the Ashkenazi accent flattens Hebrew, narrows it and, worst of all, makes it confusing and vague" Says Tsadok. "Hebrew has become a crippled language that needs crutches to be understood by its own speakers."

MNEMONIC HEBREW history

Why are you learning Hebrew? Is it because you seek to grow closer to Ha5em? Is it because you have heard of the success and purity of this amazing language? Hebrew is one of the few languages to have a university to guide it, the only language lucky enough to be dead for two thousand years, sleeping, waiting to be revived. The only language with a linguistic anchor (the Torah) that keeps it pure. But while all this is truly something to celebrate, there is a dark side. And you realize it almost immediately after learning the 4alefbeyt. Despite having only 22 letters, there is immense incompatibility transliterating. It has sounds that don't exist in English, is written right to left and without vowels, and a single letter can represent a few sounds. It is compact by nature and this causes difficulty to the learner. The vowels are incompatible with western technology such as Facebook. Express this to your fellow Hebrewist and you can guarantee to be labelled lazy or radical. However, this issue is unique to all Semitic languages. Such as Arabic which has letters that change depending on their position in a word and Amharic with over 200 letters. How do they adapt?

The answers lies with the cellphone. When the cellphone was first introduced to the middle East, it was introduced with our familiar 26 letter Latin alphabet. Arabs quite simply had to learn English in order to text. The educated would flaunt their abilities. Eventually a few Arabs, armed with their God given Semitic common sense, adapted. For letters that didn't exist in English, the hindu-arabic numerals (0-9) were used. Unfortunately different systems are used in every Arab country. This is not so with Hebrew. There is only one system which will be introduced and utilized through out MNEMONIC HEBREW material.

Being burdened by clumsy writing systems is not new. Take for instance the Koreans which struggled for centuries with Chinese characters that only made sense to the Chinese. Until a faithful king created Hangul, an elegant writing alphabet that freed his people and unlocked their potential. Consider students of Chinese, who also use hindu-Arabic numerals in a system called pinyin to represent tones.

The gift you will be given is the ability to freely type or text in Hebrew with a system that will not burden you with ambiguity. A system compatible with all Hebrew media. You will now be able to copy and paste Hebrew literature on Facebook WITH VOWELS along side English translation. However, there is a warning, after using this system you will cringe every time you see a clumsy transliteration like 'boker tov', which gives you hardly any clue as to it's root or true Hebrew spelling. Instead you will learn to appreciate boqer 9ov-good morning. Let's be absolutely honest with ourselves, the amibiguous transliteration and the incompatible vowel pointings are both as useless to those outside of Israel as an ash tray on a motorcycle.

You will not need to download any special fonts, you will not have to combine letters to represent sounds like the Anglo h convention found in the word 'she'. You will be totally free from the shift key. You can stop pushing that square wheeled wheelbarrow(ambiguous transliteration, vowelless writing, and clumsy vowels) up a hill. All that will be required is to memorize the sounds of our 6 faithful Hero's: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 9.

If you are a native Hebrew speaker that for some reason feels offended by what is written here, I have this to say, your language is beautiful, it transcends nationalism and is a gift for everyone. You do not have a right to burden myself or anyone. Mnemonic Hebrew is faithful to Hebrew spelling and root system. Do not be so closed minded as to think using numbers as letters is a sin. It is the most Hebraic thing in the world!

With that being said, Here are our six faithful hero's!

The Wonders Of The W In Hebrew

Why does the conjunction-and which in Hebrew is the single letter W turn into a mere vowel in Hebrew? This question can rattle your brain, especially when a logical explanation is ignored. Well first I will give the rule then explain why. Here is the rule. Before the letters v-b, m and f-p the conjunction or prefix which is 'we'(sounds like way) becomes 'u'(like you). So why? Why these letters? Well for starters W is a bilabial or lip sound. Here are the Five lip letters B, F, P, V, W. The Mnemonic is "Big Fancy People's Volts Wagon". Among these bilabials W stands out. W is a glide or consonantal vowel. The other glide is Y. What makes a glide a glide is that they cannot be pronounced at the end of a syllable or word and they have to have a vowel follow them in order to be pronounced as consonants. They easily shift into vowels. The letters that make the prefix 'we' morph into 'u' are not random. They are a team. Now the letter M is a nasal or nose sound. The other Nasal is N. Say 'MooN'. Unlike N, M is the nasal that is pronounced in the lips. Well that is the reason. I guess it can be said that this lovely language is sound sensitive. I do not oppose simply making the conjunction 'we' all the time as I have heard suggested. But the Mnemonic I use is "Oo Very Marvelous Fettuccini": meaning Pronounced as 'u' before v-b, m and f-p.
