What are the numbers

What are the numbers?

The numbers represent letters of the Hebrew 4alefbeyt. There are sounds that exist in Hebrew that don't in English. Furthermore Hebrew itself cannot be confined to a 26 letter alphabet. We can adapt the Latin alphabet as turkey has done but we would then be inclined to ask everyone learning Hebrew to download yet another font or language on their computer. One way other people have adapted is by using numbers. Why numbers? Well they reduce typing and do not require the shift key. It makes things easier. Basically with this Hebrew is a hundred percent phonetic. No exceptions. The transliteration tells you exactly the Hebrew spelling. Before an ambiguous transliteration system would require a person to look up a word in the dictionary four or five different ways. This is highly unnecessary.
Other than that MNEMONIC HEBREW makes use of other things that makes Hebrew more predictable and less ambiguous.
W distinguished from v
C instead of kh or even ch
X distinguished from s
Q distinguished from
k
